La Moor House o Casa Moor se encuentra localizada en el número 120 de la calle London Wall con Moorgate, y ofrece un aire distintivo en un distrito que se encuentra en regeneración rodeado por numerosos edificios históricos. Lo más destacado de esta vanguardista obra es, sin lugar a dudas, la curvatura de la fachada principal que da a la zona sureste del edificio. Esta “dramática” curva se diseñó expresamente por el arquitecto para que no hubiese tanto contraste con respecto a los edificios de menor envergadura situados en los alrededores, pudiendo reducir así su volumen.
El edificio se distribuye en varios niveles. Las dos primeras plantas cuentan con un Hall de entrada diáfano a un lado, y otros dos niveles al otro que se destinaron a Centro Comercial con varias tiendas, bares y restaurantes. El núcleo de servicios se encuentra localizado en el centro del edificio, por lo que las diferentes oficinas que se sitúan alrededor, ofrecen una vista panorámica en todas las direcciones a la ciudad. El edificio cuenta con 14 ascensores y su diseño permite que puedan ser alojados en el futuro tres más entre los niveles 1 y 4. Las oficinas se distribuyen desde la planta tercera hasta la dieciocho.
En el exterior, el edificio se compone básicamente de tres fachadas bien diferenciadas formadas por un sistema de muro cortina, mediante la combinación de materiales como el vidrio, el aluminio y el acero. Las fachadas oeste y norte son planas, mientras que la fachada sureste ofrece la característica curvatura que converge en la plaza que se encuentra frente al centro comercial. Esta bonita plaza que se sitúa al pie de la majestuosa fachada curva, le da algo de aire y espacio a la zona, ya que las calles colindantes son muy estrechas.
Un dato curioso de la cimentación con la que arranca la Moor House, es que se encuentra a la mayor profundidad de todo Londres, situándose nada menos que a 57 metros. El motivo de que los pilares tengan que arrancar tan abajo fue debido a que discurrían varias vías de ferrocarril bajo el solar donde se erigió el nuevo edificio. La Moor House se construyó en el mismo solar donde se encontraba antiguamente la también llamada Moor House, un edificio de oficinas de 18 plantas de altura que había sido construido en la década de los años 60. El nuevo proyecto diseñado por el equipo de Norman Foster, por su diseño y vanguardia, se ha convertido en muy poco tiempo en todo un icono para esta ciudad.

The Moor House and Moor House is located at 120 London Wall Street to Moorgate, and offers a distinctive feel in a district that is surrounded by numerous regenerating historic buildings. The highlight of this groundbreaking work is, undoubtedly, the curvature of the main facade overlooking the southeastern part of the building. This "dramatic" curve was purposefully designed by the architect to have not much contrast to the smaller buildings located close by and can reduce its volume.
The building is divided into several levels. The first two floors feature a transparent entrance hall to one side, and two levels of the other who went to shopping center with shops, bars and restaurants. The service core is located in the center of the building, so that the different offices that are around, offering a panoramic view in all directions to the city. The building has 14 elevators and its design allows it to be accommodated in the future three more between levels 1 and 4. The offices are distributed from the third floor to eighteen.
Outside, the building is basically composed of three distinct facades consist of a curtain wall system, combining materials such as glass, aluminum and steel. The western and northern facades are flat, while the south façade provides the characteristic curve that converges on the square in front of the mall. This beautiful square is at the foot of the majestic curved facade gives some air and space to the area because the surrounding streets are very narrow.
A curious fact of the foundation with which they start the Moor House is found to greater depth across London, reaching no less than 57 meters. The reason that the pillars have to start so low was because several railroads ran under the site where the new building was erected. The Moor House was built on the same site where he was formerly also known as the Moor House, an office building 18 stories high that had been built in the early 60s.
